美国大学生：中国将成为下一个“超级大国”
　　【环球网综合报道】随着经济的高速发展，越来越多地获得世界媒体的关注，&中国影响力&一词也成为各国年轻人群体中躲不掉的&热词&。在&两会&召开之际，环球网推出&世界网友看两会&大型专题，并希望借此了解外国人眼中的中国。
　　正在芝加哥读大学的豪泽（Russel Houser）接受环球网记者采访时毫不犹豫地表示，中国会继续发展成为&世界有影响力的强国&，这一点毋庸置疑。而他来自洛杉矶的同学帕特尔（Sapan Patel）则更为直接地表示，中国在经济领域追赶其他发达国家方面做得很好，&我认为中国会是下一个超级大国，全世界的生活用品都是由中国提供的&。
　　豪泽则对&中国提供全世界生活品&提出不同观点。他预测，中国的高速发展有可能会改变中国的制造业现状以及政府的环境政策，&中国将更加重视环境问题，并将关闭大量会对环境造成破坏的工厂，未来的生活品可能并不会大量来自中国&。
　　此外，针对中美双边关系，豪泽认为，总体来说两国关系牢固，这主要取决于两国经济和国际外交政策，&中美两国在各个领域都互相依赖，不会彻底仇视对方&。

But not really a world power. I'm not sure economic strength alone could make them one, and I'm not sure they have the goods to be strong in other ways, like the US is, which is done by feats of strong and consistent diplomacy, technological innovation, as well as with the benefit of geographical isolation, to name a few contributing factors. And China's economic strength is at the moment a bit overstated, anyway, though one can see why this mistake is made. And as one other poster hinted at, China is not strong philosophically, which is a true and somewhat unique source of a country like America's dominance - they hold a moral high ground. Since the nature of China's rule is basically authoritarian, whatever type of power they continue to obtain in the world will be met by resistance both by those within and around the world, the good who fight for freedoms afforded by the West. The American 'Dream' has currency in all co no one ever speaks of a 'Chinese Dream.' It sounds extreme but a more powerful China would seem to look more like a mid-20th century Russia or a Germany than a US, though at other times China's view seems very admirable.
